Anthropic filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of Class A common stock on October 26, 2026. The company plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol ANT. The number of shares and the price range have not been disclosed, and the registration statement has not yet become effective.

According to the filing, Anthropic reported $16.3 billion in revenue for the six months ended June 2026, exceeding the $4.6 billion it reported for all of 2025. The company posted a net loss of $80.7 billion for the first half of 2026, primarily due to accounting charges, compared with a $42 billion loss for 2025. AI infrastructure spending reached $9 billion in the first half of 2026, up from $7.3 billion for all of 2025.

The filing also disclosed over $430 billion in committed cloud computing deals with companies including Amazon and Google, and up to $637 billion when including cancellable and smaller agreements. Approximately one-fifth of Anthropic’s revenue came from two customers.

Anthropic develops the Claude models used by many AI agents, making its financials and compute commitments relevant to the agent economy. The filing lists compute capacity as a risk factor.

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are named as underwriters for the offering.
